Local Food in Tourism Destination Development: The Supply-Side Perspectives

چکیده
Although the importance of role local food in destination marketing and development has begun to form an academic debate last decade, little effort been invested empirically underpin concept food. Thus, addressing research gap, this study explores perceptions views on among supply-side representatives Yorkshire, England. The findings suggest multiple understandings discursive constructions what constitutes “local food” representatives. These are broadly presented as three dimensions: geographic; cultural; socio-economic. Practical implications offered producers, service providers, management, future avenues suggested.
